West Virginia Tryouts
Tryouts are our club's independent process for dividing our players into teams by graduation year but following the NLF and USA Lacrosse guidelines for team formation. The goal is to place each player at a playing level where individually they are able to be competitive lacrosse players.
Our tryouts are run much like a practice with a focus on individual development. We work players through a series of individual drills to see what level of play they are at. We will wrap up with some small sided games and then full field.
Upon completion of tryouts we will place players on team and send an email advising players of what team they have been placed on. Tryouts are held at River's Edge (Roanoke, VA).
